Mongolia is known as the “Land of the Eternal Blue Sky”, with a widely varied topography and the most dramatic landscapes, iconic structures and a wonderful culture where the nomads have always lived in sympathy with the landscape. Léonce travelled through the Gobi desert at the Mongolian side and Beijing. This trip reawakened Léonce’s love for painting and in 2014 she started painting again, with the focus on abstraction.
