Sombras de Pasado | Shadows of the Past : During my visit to the Eremo di Santa Caterina del Sasso, I was moved by the centuries-old, fragmented frescoes on the inner walls. The natural weathering of the plaster and the peeling layers of warm terracotta and ochre paint mirror my own process of building and removing layers.
